California wine, in published figures

Statewide figures cover wine grapes only — the Crush Report’s red and white sections. Table and raisin varieties are crushed for juice and concentrate in real quantity, but folding them into a “California acreage” number would overstate wine plantings by a wide margin. Acreage is published by county and price by crush district; neither is published for an AVA, and neither is estimated down to one here. The California region page carries the same series at full size.
