Editorial profile

Jackson Family Wines is the family-owned parent company Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke built starting with the 1982 debut of Kendall-Jackson's Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay, headquartered in Santa Rosa, California. It does not bottle wine under its own name; instead it owns and operates a large family of individual wineries and brands across Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Monterey and Santa Barbara (including Kendall-Jackson, Cambria, Stonestreet, Hartford Family Winery, Vérité, La Crema, Freemark Abbey, Lokoya, Cardinale and La Jota, among many others) plus estates in Oregon, Australia, Chile, France, Italy and South Africa.

All of the company's California estate vineyards are certified under the Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW) program. Because Jackson Family Wines is a corporate parent rather than a winery that bottles its own label, this producer page carries no wine rows of its own; its wines live under each individual winery brand's own producer page.

Farming certification
Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW), all estate vineyards, since 2010
