Editorial profile

Joseph-Jibril Wines is a small, Sonoma County-based négociant-style label making minimal-intervention wines from purchased fruit across several North Coast appellations. Rather than a single estate or lead varietal, the portfolio ranges widely: Valdiguié from Solano County, Chardonnay from Russian River Valley's Bazzano Vineyard, Cabernet Franc from the Santa Cruz Mountains' Black Ridge Vineyard, and a run of skin-contact, rosé and carbonic-maceration bottlings blending Pinot Noir, Valdiguié, Pinot Gris and Sauvignon Blanc from Russian River Valley and Anderson Valley fruit.

The winemakers describe their approach as native fermentation with light handling — foot-treading, whole-cluster and carbonic techniques, aging largely in neutral oak and concrete — aimed at letting each vineyard's fruit speak with minimal cellar intervention.

Wines

7 of 7 wines link to the page they were read from. The list is what a producer publishes about itself, one citation at a time — it is not a catalog, and a wine missing from it is uncurated rather than unmade.
