Editorial profile

Flora Springs is a family-owned winery in St. Helena, Napa Valley, founded in 1978 by Jerry and Flora Komes on a property whose vines date to the late 1800s. Now in its third generation, the family farms estate vineyards across several Napa Valley sub-appellations — Rutherford, Oakville and Howell Mountain among them — and its program centers on Cabernet Sauvignon, both as a varietal-labeled Napa Valley bottling and across a run of single-vineyard and proprietary Cabernet selections (Wild Boar, Holy Smoke, Bloom, Awakening, Out of Sight, Flora's Legacy).

Trilogy, a Cabernet Sauvignon-led Bordeaux blend first released decades ago, is considered one of Napa Valley's early proprietary red blends and remains the estate's flagship; Soliloquy, a Sauvignon Blanc-based white blend, plays the equivalent role among its whites. The portfolio also runs to Sangiovese-based Poggio del Papa, a sparkling Brut Cuvee, and a series of limited Halloween-themed bottlings for club members. Flora Springs is now under new ownership shared by Jean-Charles Boisset and Gina Gallo.

25 of 25 wines link to the page they were read from. The list is what a producer publishes about itself, one citation at a time — it is not a catalog, and a wine missing from it is uncurated rather than unmade.
