Editorial profile

Balestrieri Family Farm is a small family farm and winery in Briones, in Contra Costa County, on land the family began developing around 2017 with 15 acres of vines and 5 acres of olives. Owner Kevin Balestrieri's family carries a winemaking and olive-oil-pressing tradition back to his great-grandfather in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood.

The farm's small estate program centers on Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah — bottled separately, as reserve tier wines, and blended together as the BFF Red Blend — alongside a Viognier. The farm's own website is currently gated behind bot-detection (a CAPTCHA challenge) and could not be fetched live; the wines above are drawn from the Internet Archive's captures of the site.

Wines

4 of 4 wines link to the page they were read from. The list is what a producer publishes about itself, one citation at a time — it is not a catalog, and a wine missing from it is uncurated rather than unmade.
