Teroldego

Red wine grape · reported 2000–2025

Further reading: VIVC catalog entry

Teroldego is an Italian variety from Trentino, one of Lagrein's parents. California's bearing acreage has declined, from 1,032 acres five years ago to 855 in 2025, spread across 20 counties but concentrated in the Central Valley: San Joaquin holds 51 percent of the statewide total, with Sacramento next. It is a deeply colored, fruity Alpine red. In California it is grown mostly in warmer inland districts for varietal red wine.

What is published

Counts describe what this atlas holds for Teroldego, not what California grows. A zero is a published answer: it means the source names the grape and reports nothing under it, or does not name it at all.
