Editorial profile

Pahlmeyer is a Napa Valley winery founded in 1986 by Jayson Pahlmeyer, built around Bordeaux-variety mountain fruit from estate sites including Waters Ranch, Stagecoach, Vangone, Upper Range and Round Pond. Its flagship Proprietary Red is a Cabernet Sauvignon-led Bordeaux blend, joined by the single-vineyard, nearly all-Cabernet Pièce de Résistance and a Cabernet Franc-led Raison d'Être; Merlot and a barrel-fermented Chardonnay round out the Pahlmeyer-tier wines. The Jayson label is the second tier, offering more accessible Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, a Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, and a Bordeaux-style Red Wine blend.

Wines

11 of 11 wines link to the page they were read from. The list is what a producer publishes about itself, one citation at a time — it is not a catalog, and a wine missing from it is uncurated rather than unmade.
