Honig Vineyard & Winery is a family-owned, solar-powered Rutherford winery built on two varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, produced as an everyday bottling, a Rutherford Reserve, and a late-harvest dessert wine, and Cabernet Sauvignon, which ranges from a Napa Valley blend up through an Estate bottling and single-vineyard wines from Bartolucci (St. Helena), Campbell (Rutherford), Rafael and Vyborny vineyards, plus an Appellation Series wine from St. Helena and a port-style Cabernet Sauvignon Dulce. The winery farms sustainably and is solar-powered, using measures such as grazing sheep and scent-detection dogs in place of some chemical inputs.
