Editorial profile

Crocker & Starr handcrafts small-production wines from a historic estate in St. Helena, Napa Valley, founded by Charlie Crocker and winemaker Pam Starr. Cabernet Franc is the winery's founding wine — the Estate Cabernet Franc that first proved the St.

Helena soil could rival Bordeaux — alongside several distinct Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings drawn from different blocks of the estate: 'RLC' (for the rock, loam and clay soils of the Crocker Vineyard), 'Stone Place' from heritage Block 3 vines planted in 1971, and '1 Post'. The estate also produces a Sauvignon Blanc, an A.V.A. Napa Valley Cabernet Franc blend, a Casali Malbec, a St. Helena rosé, and Brut and Brut Rosé sparkling wines made to mark the winery's history.

Wines

11 of 11 wines link to the page they were read from. The list is what a producer publishes about itself, one citation at a time — it is not a catalog, and a wine missing from it is uncurated rather than unmade.
