Editorial profile

AVIVO is a small organic-grape wine brand based in Healdsburg, in the Dry Creek Valley AVA, though its three current wines are sourced from Lodi rather than the estate's home appellation. The lineup is built as a red, rosé and white made without additives: a Sangiovese-led red blended with a splash of Syrah, a 100% Sangiovese rosé, and a 100% Vermentino white, all fermented with minimal sulfur dioxide. The project pairs veteran winemaker Dan Fitzgerald with the multigenerational Ledbetter grape-growing family and retired tech executive Ridgely Evers.

Wines

3 of 3 wines link to the page they were read from. The list is what a producer publishes about itself, one citation at a time — it is not a catalog, and a wine missing from it is uncurated rather than unmade.
