Editorial profile

Kosta Browne is a Sebastopol producer, founded in 1997, built on Pinot Noir drawn from Russian River Valley, Sonoma Coast and Anderson Valley fruit, alongside a small production of single-vineyard bottlings and a Chardonnay. The winery began as a restaurant-industry side project, with much of its allocation sold directly through a mailing list and by-appointment tastings at its Barlow marketplace location in Sebastopol.
