Editorial profile

Kapcsàndy Family Winery is a small estate winery on State Lane Vineyard in Yountville, Napa Valley, founded by Hungarian-born Lou Kapcsándy and his wife Bobbie after they replanted a 20-acre parcel that had once supplied Beringer's Private Reserve Cabernet program. Cabernet Sauvignon anchors the portfolio in two forms — the estate's Grand Vin and the Estate Cuvée — alongside a Merlot-based Roberta's Reserve named for Roberta Kapcsándy. A Cabernet Franc line, Rapszodia, appears as a still red and, blended with Merlot, as a rosé, and the estate also grows Hungarian Furmint and produces a fortified dessert wine, Vino del Sol, nodding to Lou's origins.

7 of 7 wines link to the page they were read from. The list is what a producer publishes about itself, one citation at a time — it is not a catalog, and a wine missing from it is uncurated rather than unmade.
