Editorial profile
Jarvis Estate sits 1,200 feet above the city of Napa in the mountains along the valley's eastern side, where William and Leticia Jarvis planted their first vines in 1986 above an entirely subterranean, cave-set winery. The estate lineup is built on Bordeaux varieties — Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot — plus Tempranillo, with the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot each also bottled as a step-up Reserve.
Finch Hollow Chardonnay, offered in both a standard and an unfiltered bottling, is the estate's white wine. Several small-lot wines carry proprietary names — Lake William, Will Jarvis' Science Project, and Dancing Flowers — whose exact composition the winery's site does not spell out.

12 of 12 wines link to the page they were read from. The list is what a producer publishes about itself, one citation at a time — it is not a catalog, and a wine missing from it is uncurated rather than unmade.
