Editorial profile

Dana Estates is a Napa Valley producer built around three single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons: Helms, on the Rutherford Bench site first farmed in 1883 (later home to Livingston Moffett winery before Dana Estates redeveloped it in 2005); Hershey, a rocky Howell Mountain vineyard at 1,800 feet; and Lotus, a steep west-facing hillside site at 1,200 feet whose fruit blends the richness of Helms with the structure of Hershey. The winery was designed by architect Howard Backen around the estate's original stone walls. danaestates.com now refuses automated fetches, so this profile and the wines below are drawn from Internet Archive captures of the producer's own site (circa 2009-2013).

Wines

3 of 3 wines link to the page they were read from. The list is what a producer publishes about itself, one citation at a time — it is not a catalog, and a wine missing from it is uncurated rather than unmade.
